Autumn rooms.

Back to Jabber is a small-room record, so the first run is a small-room tour. No barriers, no big screens. Just the songs, a few lamps and whatever the room brings.

14 November — Montreal · Sala Rossa
21 November — Toronto · The Baby G
5 December — Chicago · Sleeping Village
12 December — Lisbon · Musicbox

More rooms will be added. If you want the record to come to your city, leave a note below.

How “Velvet Static” began.

The song started with a missed train and a borrowed coat. I had been in the studio all day trying to make something feel expensive, and the only thing that felt true was the sound of the room after everyone left.

So I kept that. The hum of the lights, the chair turning, the last note hanging in the air. I wrote the lyric on the back of a set list: “We took the long way home / just to keep the night awake.”

That line became the whole record. Not a big statement — just the refusal to let a good night end too early.
