Cancellation Policy
Membership
How to stop a paid membership and what happens to deck access.
Current billing model
Chiplag currently takes a one-time payment for the billing period selected at checkout. It does not create an automatic recurring PayPal subscription.
Because there is no automatic renewal, there is no future renewal payment to cancel. Your paid access simply ends when the period you paid for ends unless you choose to pay again.
How to cancel
- Email [email protected] from the account email address, or use the contact details on the Contact page.
- Include your username, deck name and the email address used for PayPal.
- Tell us whether you want to stop future renewal, close the deck, or both.
We will confirm by email when the request has been processed. Do not rely on a PayPal dispute or a bank cancellation alone to tell us you want to stop using the service.
When cancellation takes effect
- Access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
- No new payment is scheduled because the current checkout does not auto-renew.
- If you cancel before a manual renewal, do not complete another PayPal checkout.
- Cancelling does not automatically refund a payment already made; see the Refund Policy.
If automatic renewal is added later
If Chiplag introduces automatic recurring billing, you will be able to cancel before the next charge through the method disclosed at checkout or by contacting us. We will update this policy and the checkout disclosures before enabling automatic renewal.
Your data after cancellation
Cancelling a paid membership does not by itself delete your account, posts or media. The deck may become read-only, hidden or limited according to the plan and account lifecycle rules. You can request deletion under the Privacy Policy.
Content may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion.
