How deck plans, prices, billing periods and renewals work on Chiplag.
Free launch
Chiplag is currently in free launch mode. New decks are free during this period and paid plans are not being offered at checkout. The paid plans below apply when paid memberships open.
Plans and prices
Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). The annual price is charged once for a 12-month period; the monthly price is charged once for a one-month period.

How payment works now
PayPal processes deck payments. The current checkout is a one-time payment for the billing period you select. It does not create an automatic recurring PayPal subscription, and Chiplag does not store your card details.
When a paid period ends, you must choose a plan and pay again to continue a paid membership. We will not charge you again unless you complete a new checkout.
If automatic renewal is introduced later, the checkout will clearly disclose the recurring amount, billing frequency and next charge date before you approve it, and this policy will be updated first.
Taxes and currency
Prices are displayed in CAD. Any applicable taxes or additional charges will be disclosed before payment where required. Currency conversion or foreign-transaction fees charged by your bank or PayPal are your responsibility.
Failed or overdue payments
Because the current checkout does not auto-renew, there is no automatic charge to fail. If a manual renewal is not completed, the deck may remain readable until the paid period ends and may then be restricted or moved to a free or locked state.
If recurring billing is added later, failed payments will be retried or communicated according to the checkout terms shown at that time.
Changes and limits
We may change plans, features or prices. Material changes will be announced before they apply to a new billing period. Changes do not affect a period you have already paid for.
Plan limits are part of the service. Exceeding a limit may require removing content or changing plans. Deck Shop sales are between the deck seller and the buyer; Chiplag provides the platform and commission ledger.
